OKay so they was charging hundred and something dollars to knock down that big tree that had a nasty lean to it right toward my Home.. I got this one due to such great reviews, due to say this bad boy handled that big tree like nothing, i use regular 10-30 from pennzoil. Let me tell you i was so surprised of how easy and steady this worked, down came that tree and i also used it to clean up the area. I am very Happy, after use cleaned it right up, made sure it was full of oil again....... really recommend this to anyone, ...more

Using the metal blade to cut through nails in studs was great and getting into hard to reach areas was also a plus. Hand sawing was for the birds!! We have a chainsaw, but I don't like using it because it's too big for me to manage. This saw cut branches very well, except the vibration put a couple of blisters on my hand. It vibrates a lot when you are cutting through thicker branches (3" or more). Next time, I'm going to wear gloves when cutting wood. I've never cut metal or pvc so I don't know if the vibration is as bad with those. Advise: use ...more

Spent a few hours cutting a fallen tree as well as cutting down a few smaller trees. It worked great, no complaints. The no tool adjustment worked great. Had no issues with kickback. Took it apart to clean and it was pretty easy as well. Lots of tools say to clean after use, but a chainsaw is one that you really should clean well - and drain the oil out. What a great product.I had started with a manual pole saw that ended up getting broken by getting caught in a tree limb I was cutting down. For only a little bit more I went back and got the Electric pole saw. What a difference it made. What had already consumed 2 days to cut down a few limbs, I finished off what would have been another week of work in about 4 hours. Very easy to use. Of course the quality is not like my gas powered Husqvarna, but still decent. The biggest difference is the chain oiler, which is not automatic. One has to push on the oil filler cap to squeeze the oil onto the chain. May seem akward, but other electrical pole saws don't have an oiler at all.
