Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-01-11 Summary: Amazing Blade ... Any time you can cut 1/16" off the end of a 2x4 and can actually pick up the 1/16th inch piece of wood when you are done, you know you are using a very good blade. I used this blade for framing my basement. the blade that came with my circular saw lasted about 35 minutes, and this diablo blade took over and is still going strong several days later. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-09-07 Summary: IT's Like butta.....cut your own stair stringers with this ... If you have ever cut your own stair stringers, you know what pain it can be. I was always scared of circular saws, but didn't want to use a Japanese pull saw on 2 long sets of stringers-been there, done that. I bought a really inexpensive circular saw ( 60$) and used this blade. Makes it like a high quality saw.......very quiet, very smooth very controllable and accurate. The blade is one of the few that are not made in China......it's made in Italy. And it's made like a piece of jewelry. Very high quality! And it ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-08-31 Summary: Like a Hot Knife in Butter! ... I replaced a factory Ryobi blade that was very old and had cut cut into a few non wood things, it was so old it would smoke when I cut anything. So i broke down and bought this blade thinking I was buying for the hype and pretty red paint (even though it was only a couple bucks more than the cheep blades I expected a top performance for my money). I was absolutely AMAZED! Not only did it make the cut effortlessly it was noticeably quieter (though you still need ear plugs if you don't want to do deaf prematurely). The ...more

[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-01-28 Summary: Excellent blade - esp. for cordless circular saws ... Bought this based upon the reviews and have to agree - it really polished up the already great performance of my Milwaukee M18 cordless circular saw. These are the only blades I've been using since June '09 and have no need to try anything else. In fact I now only use the 7-1/4" version of this blade in my SkilSaw wormdrive, and my fullsize corded Milwaukee 6394. They all cut effortlessly, cleanly, and noticeably reduce the saw effort. I even mark and keep the old blades that have hit nails and whatnot as my 'nail ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-09-12 Summary: Best blade out there. ... This blade is by far the best blade out there for any cordless saw. Makes the saw seem like it has the power of a corded saw. Makes a very thin cut and doesn't bind. I've been in construction for 12 years and have used all the brands and this is number 1. I only use Freud blades in all my saws. My 12" Makita compound miter saw has the finishing blade and makes the most perfect miters in any kind of wood. I highly recommend these blades, they save your time and money. ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-12-24 Summary: Has Freud surpassed Forest... ... With respect to thin kerf blades at least, the answer in my opinion is yes. Note: I have only used the blade on soft woods and plywood so far. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-01-03 Summary: Great all around performance ... I build hardwood furniture for my home and love the way this blade performs on solid stock. The HIATB does an outstanding job on cross cuts and requires less feed force than my other blades. I would rate the rip performance better than Freud does, and I use it all the time in this capacity. When making my blade selection, I was a little unsure of the HIATB, having never owned one, but now I'm sold and would buy another. By design this blade does not leave a flat bottom cut - no raker teeth. ...more
[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-06-25 Summary: Excellent Cabinet Plywood Saw Blade ... I was frustrated with how fast my steel plywood blades were wearing out cutting plywood, on a Shopsmith 520, so after reading the reviews I decided to give this blade a try. Although a little expensive, I agree with the other reviewers that this is one great blade. It produces clean, low shatter cuts in cabinet plywood. I did experience some burning on the fence side of the blade, but after several cuts it went a way. So far this blade has exceeded the life of two steel blades, but will have to produce quality cuts ...more
