I also don't like using large table saws and other large power tools to do small intricate work. This Proxxon table saw is perfect for making bridges, cross cutting or ripping small lumber used for making guitars. It is very precise and easy to adjust. I ordered a dado washer set from another vendor, and while waiting for it to arrive, I had to cut out a slot of about 15 inches. I had to repeat cut a rip over and over until the 1 inch slot was cut. To do this task, I moved the fence the thickness of the blade kerf each time I made a rip pass. Brick veneer - a four-inch brick wall used to provide an exterior finish for a house.
CFM (cubic feet per minute) - A rating that expresses the amount of air a blower or fan can move. The volume of air (measured in cubic feet) that can pass through an opening in one minute.
Capital - The principal part of a loan, i.e. the original amount borrowed.
Fire brick - Brick made of refractory ceramic material which will resist high temperatures. Used in a fireplace and boiler.
Heat gain - Heat coming into a home from sources other than its heating/cooling system. Most gains come from the sun.
Stile - The vertical upright on either side (and sometimes the center) of a panel door.
